June 3, 2024 panindhra No comments yet

SPORO Health has now joined AWS Activate, a program that provides startups with the resources needed to elevate our company. This program offers numerous benefits, including technical support and healthcare-oriented content. With AWS’s support, we will utilize AI-Agents to create a personal tool for clinical workflow automation, bringing us closer to our mission of ensuring physicians can focus on their patients. Additionally, AWS Activate provides companies with access to technical, networking, fundraising, and marketing support from the AWS Startup team. The credits received can be used to access secure AWS cloud services such as computing power, storage, database, analytics, and Internet of Things (IoT).

Introduction to SPORO Health

SPORO Health is dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry through advanced AI solutions. Our mission is to streamline clinical workflows, allowing physicians and clinicians to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks. By integrating AI-Agents into various aspects of healthcare, we aim to enhance efficiency and improve patient outcomes.

Utilizing AI-Agents in Clinical Workflows

Our AI-Agents play a pivotal role in streamlining patient chart reviews. By incorporating LLMs and Agentic RAG, we can significantly reduce the time clinicians spend on administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on delivering quality patient care. Our AI solutions also support medical note generation, synopsis generation, and audio transcription of patient visits, enhancing overall efficiency in private practices, clinics, and outpatient settings.

Integration and Customization

One of the key advantages of our AI-Agents is their ability to integrate seamlessly with all EHR systems, providing a frictionless experience for healthcare providers. Our solutions are fully customizable, ensuring that each AI-Agent is tailored to the specific needs and workflow of the physician. This personalized approach allows clinicians to have a private AI-Agent that follows their exact directions, acting as a co-pilot in their practice.

Leveraging the AWS Activate Program

Joining the AWS Activate program marks a significant milestone for SPORO Health. This program provides us with critical resources, including technical support and healthcare-oriented content, which are essential for advancing our AI-driven initiatives. We will collaborate with AWS to streamline patient chart reviews by leveraging their cutting-edge compute infrastructure. Utilizing AI services like SageMaker, Containers, and other products, we can significantly enhance our capabilities. AWS’s marketplace support and other resources will further bolster our efforts, enabling us to deliver even more effective and efficient AI-driven solutions for clinical workflows.

OB/GYN practices on athenaHealth manage a scheduling complexity profile distinct from general primary care: continuous prenatal visit series spanning 9+ months, annual well-woman exams, in-office procedures with longer slot lengths, hospital labor and delivery coverage that pulls providers out of clinic unpredictably, and patient privacy considerations that affect communication patterns. Multi Location athenaHealth Scheduling: How to Run Multiple Sites Without Chaos

Multi Location athenaHealth practices have a special class of scheduling problems. Provider was at the south clinic Tuesday, north clinic Wednesday — front desk at south books a Wednesday slot anyway. Provider’s “free” slot turns out to be drive time between sites. A reschedule moves a patient to the wrong location. These problems compound across […]

athenaHealth + Google Calendar Sync for Direct Primary Care (DPC) Practices

May 13, 2026 William 1 comment

Direct Primary Care practices have specific scheduling characteristics that make calendar visibility especially important — fewer patients per provider, longer encounters, membership-driven access, and physicians who own their schedules in a way that’s rare in larger systems. The result: when athenaHealth and Google Calendar don’t sync, the friction shows up faster and matters more than […]
